Scion

Scion is a narrative-driven puzzle adventure game that explores the dark history of a declining aristocratic family through supernatural time travel mechanics. Players take on the role of a family member returning to the crumbling ancestral estate, set on a journey to find the family’s “Lost  Fortune”. Through touching mystical anchor objects, players experience visions of their ancestors across different historical periods, from medieval England through the Industrial Revolution, gradually uncovering a pattern of exploitation, violence, and self-deception that spans centuries. The game combines atmospheric exploration with puzzle-solving mechanics, challenging players to confront uncomfortable truths about inherited privilege while questioning whether some family legacies are worth preserving and which generational legends are just a made up lie.
